Dragonfly on wood

Description

I am always fascinated by the minutiae of life and to be able to zoom in on an insect or bug really rocks my boat. So when this little dragonfly didn’t fly away as I approached, that made my day!

There he was, sitting on a piece of wood, just sunning himself.  The hard part was getting in close enough without getting my own shadow in the picture. 😉
