Description
I love old railway stations and the one at Carcoar, NSW, didn’t fail to entertain me! Getting onto the platform and being able to look down at the old, disused railway tracks – to see the minutiae of rocks, sleepers, metal and weeds without having to worry about being hit by the next express train coming through – was a buzz! Not to mention the brickwork on the edge of the platform.
This is not a pretty photo, but it I love the pure, dry industrial effect of it.
