‘Rusted Roots 1: Cable’ is the first in a series of watercolour on paper or acrylic on canvas works inspired by the industrial items I’ve noticed in rural settings.

‘Rusted Roots 1: Cable’ is a watercolour of a rusted blue steel fencing cable, and displays the patinas of age against a faded, indistinct background.

This artwork is on an A3 sheet of  Arches 300 gsm watercolour paper and has a 1.5 cm border all round to allow for matting when framing.
