Dos por favour – salmon pink on green

Description

Dos por favor – salmon pink on green is one from a series of different artworks based on the European symbol for ‘Two, please’. This particular Dos por favor is an acrylic on stretched canvas.

The background is a swirled mix of antique white, salmon pink and forest green, with some impasto thrown in for good measure.  I then placed a stencil of the hand over the canvas, and painted the background in again in a more smoothly blended mix of forest green and antique white.
