‘Wayne’s Wabbit’ is a rescue bowl. It had started life as an Eddy Izzard bowl – I’d found the most incredible image of him holding a tea cup in an issue of the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Weekend magazine and wanted to lay it across the face of the base of the bowl. I’d prepared it carefully, worked out where it would have to be torn and overlapped to layer up the sides of the bowl, and glued it very carefully. It dried over night and … was wrinkled everywhere! 🙁
I eventually accepted that there was nothing I could do to save it, and so removed it and used recycled fibrous florist’s paper to create this homage to my husband’s favourite football team, the mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs!
It now hangs proudly on the wall of his study. Go the mighty Bunnies!
Please note: Bowl 6 is not for sale, but is listed here for completeness.
