Like its companion pieces, Opals – Light and Opals – Dark, ‘Love Me Do’ is an abstract watercolour created in reverse – the colours were washed on randomly, then I drew hearts and painted the background in with black watercolour pencil which I then washed in.
This pretty artwork is perfect for someone you love, as a Valentine’s Day gift, for brightening up a honeymoon retreat or as a present for a newly-engaged couple. Or for a Beatles fan!
‘Love Me Do’ was created on watercolour paper and measures 32 cm wide and 24 cm high. There’s a reasonable border for matting.
